Lots more motherboards to test than GPUs these days. But having a few from high end through to low end certainly would be a nice addition. Would be another purchasing decision handed over to the TPU meister(s).

Probably cause it was predictable. I mean insanely predictable. Everything scored the same for generations. Asus doing 0.8% better in memory tests, gigabyte by the same amount in other tests, then gigabyte winning on the max overclock. Like seriously, it's always played out like that in the reviews I read.

I have a Sony A230 with tripod and a ton of experience producing technical documents. I just don't have the infrastructure of hard Drives/CPUs/GPUs/RAM/Motherboards and whatnot to support the hobby. If you ever need something small scale reviewed though keep me in mind.

Would be nice to see my favourite site doing a proper job of reviewing a motherboard. Honestly some of the ones out there currently are a joke.

honestly benchmarking a motherboard just seems silly to me, what i look for in a motherboard review is high quality pictures of the board itself along with detailed info on the layout/components and features of the board. anything beyond that is just a waste of time in my personal opinion

i agree if TPU reviews board again, thats kinda useful for any one that searching for best board, but in my opinion the review should be packed straight, i mean if it could it separated to several point like 1. product and features 2. benchmark 3. conclusion, it will be effective and aint too much to read

Motherboard Reviews Take a shit load of time to finish.

Like literally taking a picture of every different capacitor,

Taking High-res pictures:

Up to 6 different Capacitor's on various motherboards
Your Monitoring ITE Chip's
Your Ethernet Chip's
Your Clock Generator Chip's
Your On-board Audio Chip's

Then Pictures of all parts of the motherboard in specific Close ups,
Then Pictures of many BIOS pages, showing all available settings, and glitches

Pictures of Packaging also.

Then you go threw having to install from scratch a operating system, Installing at least 6 3d/2d applications some how, All while running them and testing those applications

Just to get results only 0.8% faster then another motherboard you reviewed months back.

While doing all that, Documenting, and revising a perfect Multiple page review for Techpowerup users to look at.

And theres more motherboard's then graphics cards.

In general, its understandable why we don't have motherboard reviews posted, because simply put, its 3 times the work, For less interest then your generic video card in simplicity.

I can do it, I have the resources cpu's, memory, DDR2, DDR3, HD's, video cards. Plus plenty of tech benches to test them on..

Camera's Canon EOS Rebel, Nikon Coolpix P100 wide angle lens, Panasonic DMC-FZ40K Black 14.1MP 3.0" 230K LCD 24X Optical Zoom 25mm Wide angle lens.

W1zzard is looking for work up front. So if you want to apply have the work on even your own motherboard to show before you apply. W1zzard is not going to ship anything to unknown writers without seeing what sort of abilities you have up front

You just need 1 VIDEO card for all your motherboard reviews.

2 cpu's for the socket motherboard your review'ing

Any hard-drive will do, You only need 1 hard-drive per review. Unless benching raid configurations.

DDR2 and DDR3 is good.

and 1 test bench is good to.

I would focus on 1 review at a time, till I get plenty good at it.

I'm not trying to be Mr. I review motherboards I just said I can do it and have the resources to do it with. I've done it before back when AMD Motherboards was once a web site. Been a long time ago.
