I just traded in my 7900 gtx oc's for a bfg tech 8800 gtx so that's pretty much the main reason that I'm thinking of doing it

I also plan on getting Vista. I plan on doing a fresh install of Vista when I get it. I did do an upgrade of Beta2 on a NF2 system I had, it worked fine. I agree, and figure it best though to format and fresh install with the retail release.

Best of luck to us future owners of Vista! :)

If you'd use the search function you would find various topics about this issue. I would say don't bother with Vista for the first few months.

Has anyone seen the pre Vista deal(s) on the net out there now? When you buy various versions of the XP oem OS, they come with express upgrade coupons to redeam for the various versions of Vista upgrade. For most of the coupons it seem like it will end up costing approx. $150-$160 for the whole deal, XP oem and the Vista upgrade. That seems like a real good deal to me.
