Don't forget you need some ddr3 and your drives. No comment on the board here' just get what you can afford from Gigabyte Asus Asrock or MSI (in priority).

Hold off the build completely for another week or so. Because this build is going horrible wrong already and you haven't even started yet.

A.) Amazon is Good for the odd component but DO NOT buy you entire shopping from Amazon. Use a computing specialise like Ebuyer or Dabs.

B.) I've had that Cooler Master case, build quality isn't great, £35 can get you a much better case.

C.) Crosshair IV is overpriced and not needed, any cheap 880G chipset will do.

D.) That Trust PSU is space junk.

E.) The ATI 5850 costs within £10 of the GTX 460 1GB and it's faster.

The case is "OK", but the power supply that comes with these cases are terrible. Actually thats a bit harsh, they're adaquate.

well then buy from amazon but have fun if you gotta rma a part through the company you bought it from which alot of manufacturers do

point being you buy all parts off amazon thats awesome but they might not all ship at the same time ive had them hold off on shipping on vital parts before its a big pain in the ass to sit there twiddling your thumbs like a moron cause your PSU is still 600 miles away (im in the states) and wont arrive for 2 more days

Wattage doesn’t matter much.

1. ) A brand name reputable for quality PSUs, like Corsair, Thermaltake, Antec, Zalman, XFX etc.

2.) Good efficiency rating, at least 70%

3.) High amperage, at least 18A per 12v rail for quad rail PSUs or about 30A per 12v rail for a dual rail PSUs.

4.) Low noise

Edit:

lol but their the cheapest:slap:

Amazon isn't the cheapest. They have cheaper products occasionally. Once you factor in delivery costs and there extremely limited product selection it isn’t worth the hassle. As somebody else said a computer specialist will give you better support for warranties when it comes time to RMA a defective product.

Since you're from Ireland, have a look at Komplett. They have a good selection of products stocked, have the lowest prices going and have free shipping.

Before I even started looking at components for my first build I watched videos on YouTube about the assembly process. Also, I found many articles via Google with helpful explanations of different components and cabling. I'd suggest reading up for a bit before settling down on your build specs.

:toast:Congrats on your first build!
