No biggie. Would make no difference if it be either bullet physics, nvidia physx, in house developed phsyics, or whatever readily available middleware out there.

Unless intel have changed things I think havok runs on cpu only, which means it's "meh" news for everyone XD

If it ran on a new open to all phsyx or ran bullet phsics then it would be good news everyone : ]

I would, running thousands and thousands of things at once is my idea of phsycs, I.E phsycally simulating as much of the world as possible, just as much as we simulate the look of the world.

Splitting a few melons is defitnitely a "meh" for me.

I don't card whether it uses Havok or PhysX, Just release the damn game on PC and i'll be happy.

If physics was done in hardware, the table on the melon scene would be sliced as well. As well as the cloth on top.

In anycase, that in game footage was impressive. Im having a hard time how they programmed it.. I was thinking, "Cutting off 3d objects to pieces eh? I bet they just construct every mesh per limb, round off where the sword hits the hitbox, and unhinge that limb from the mesh.". Then I watched the vid and wtf! They were like made of butter
