apparently these only support 6xxx series mate, probably have to wait until 26th for that hopefully another package appears before for 5xxx series.

Does 5850 get any updates in 10.12?

And what do you expect? HD6000 is still new so there's a lot more room for driver improvements than HD5000 which has been on the market a year and is pretty much mature. Any future driver improvements for HD5000 I expect would be minimal in respects to speed or simply to correct any long standing bugs.

I know for the score but what about the image/model quality ?
Can we say it's something like AF 2 4 8 or 16x ?

i mainly ran benchmark last night when testing, there wasnt a huge difference in quality apart from i surpose it could be discribed as looking softer at 2x. deffo not as big as say having AA off/on or AF

it must be my old eyes as i hardly notice when AA is on/off
i can see the difference with AF and with tesselation - but AA on/off makes almost 0 difference to me, its allways the last setting i try to max out

i think im the only one who thinks this way but oh well

It's harder to notice on a high resolution, but try it at 800x600

and yeah i run at 1920x1200 - 800x600 i spose would make a difference but i havnt seen that resolution since like 1996

i run @ 1920x1080 and depending on the game you can really notice when AA is off and at eg..4x

By the way, 15% performance increase for Tera Online at MSAAX4 and MSAAX8 with the 11.1 beta .

Installed and ran some quick 3dmark11 tests before going to work.

Noticed good improvement, but don't have the numbers with me.

Wanted to add that I finally got the new interface with this version.

Installed 10.12a several times, last time after a new system build, and always got the older CCC interface.

Don't understand why, nor why it is showing up this time.

6950 and 6850. Both cards does not have special settings like MLAA EQAA or tesselation. 7 x64.

i had the same problem until i did a full uninstall and used driver sweeper to clean the rest out

after that it was all good

Thanks, I always use driver sweeper and do a clean install. And also windows freezes at logo screen if I change the cards versa or if I switch 6950 BIOS 2. 10.12a does not have such issues. I am using asus 6950 bios and smart doctor, perhaps they are the problem.

if you have modifed the clocks on the 6950 bios then thats why windows is having boot problems. just up the voltage with rbe and leave clocks at stock then use something like smartdoctor to overclock.

ive a 5870 with 10.12 updated to 11.1a hotfix With the opencl bits present etc and through tweeking the cards settings in the windows registry iv got
Morphological AA on
Surface Optimisations on
EQAA enabled and tested working(or at least still working not crashed)
and Tesselation Optimse plus slider(least still working not crashed)

i tweeked a few registry keys in win7 registry in amd catalyst section theres a post on here to enable morpho on 5870 that guides you to where v well but tesselation options are under UMD sub catagory
