Does anyone know when the 990FX boards are hitting the market? Imma hankering for an upgrade. I think Ill be getting a ROG this time out.

They will launch right after/during CEBIT IIRC.

We know boards are made at this point(shown @ CES), probably going through qualification testing right this moment...you know...the sort of testing that Intel failed to do? :laugh:

CEBIT is at the beginning of March. going by the info on the CEBIT website, it's something "next gen" they will show....I wonder what it will be.....?

Definitely going to pick up a 9 series chipset board at some point, probably just gonna throw my 1055T on it still i can get a Bulldozer chip.

Prediction time! Given that 8xx chipset was released about a month (was it?) before the Phenom II x6, I would think that we will get the 990 a month before Bulldozer too, whenever it comes out. Which makes Erocker extremely accurate.

5 months! Notice that January is over. And then, since we have not heard any news about people preparing the 990FX, Febuary is out too, so that's 4 months. Quite accurate.
