1 Brand New In Box EVGA GTX 580 SC (superclocked edition)

I hope i don't have to explain much about the card itself. It's GTX 580 SuperClocked edition. ALL PENDING FOR NOW. still in it's original box, UNOPENED and SEALED in the shrink wrapper.

Bought less than 2 weeks ago (Feb 4th) through my company (we got like 15 of these, apparantly we ordered more than we needed to) and have some leftovers that i would like to get rid of. i'll supply copy of purchase order info so that you can register the card with your own name. i think all EVGA asks is serial number of the card and purchase date etc.

i signed up on TPU not that long ago so i don't have the best record or post count but i've been long time member on e90post which is one of BMW forums for BMW 3 series owners, which i own. Lexus forum before that. I also got ebay and paypal ID that can be verified as well... but all in all, since i'm new to this site, i understand some of you may feel unsecured for sending money and stuff. especially big tiecket item like this. that's why i would love local Seattle WA transaction so that i can show you purchase order and item in person. i'm also willing to ship at buyer's cost. i would love to have any local members to come out check it out and vouch for me.

anyways, i'll start it at $480 + shipping OBO. that's at least about $50 off from cheapest online retailer price (newegg). so take advantage of this deal.
feel free to send me an offer. I might take a trade + cash with your card also depending on what you have.
if you take more than one, i am willing cut you a better deal.
i might be able to get some used ones too but i'd have to dig in the office and it's totally depending on how the project goes, not up to me...

Exact Item (NewEgg): EVGA SuperClocked 015-P3-1582-AR GeForce GTX 580 (...
Exact Item (CDW): http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/default.aspx?edc=2270132

feel free to pm me if you have questions.

Few links to check out my previous trading history online.

I believe eVGA also requires place of purchase, although I do not recall if it needs to be an 'authorized reseller' but I seem to recall something about that when I registered my GTX460s last August.

Is your company an 'authorized reseller'?

OK, so then as long as you have an invoice, it does not matter who the seller is?

A little off topic, but when you cut off the upc label on the retail box, doesn't that void any chance of warranty? You know, because a chunk of important information is missing that's supposed to be intact and a piece of the box itself.

I was just wondering this because various companies offer different warranty lengths, ie. 3yr, 7yr, etc.. and if it does affect the status of me keeping my warranty, I would then say screw the rebate, I will keep warranty thanks! But now I never buy a product that has a rebate promo because its just not worth it.

P.S. Bump :D NICE 580s man.

thanks for the clarification there erocker.

The cards are new, the seller got them from Evga, so no it doesn't matter.

i can even take a picture of shipping label on the box if buyer wants to but i don't think that is necessary. if buyer is having hard time registering it with EVGA, he/she can contacts me and i'll sort it out with EVGA.

typically upc label on the box doesn't void warranty at all and it's mailed to the manufacturer anyways and you have same information on the product itself as well so when you claim the warranty work and send your item, manufacturer can find and match those information from their system. if you temper with upc or serial stickers on the product itself, that's whole different story... anyways, someone out there must need some of these... it's the best performing video card to the date...

eVGA response to my asking about the registration/warranty requirements:

"Hello, As long as the place of purchase is an authorized reseller, and not a 3rd party seller, or auction house. A full list of authorized resellers found here: http://www.evga.com/products/WhereToBuy.asp?t=Online Regards, EVGA"

I presume your company is on one of the lists?

What is the approximate shipping costs? I'm thinking you might have a shipping discount through your company?

What would the ETA be on the used ones? As long as they are not registered and we are within 30 days of purchase, we can still register them ourselves. Price difference?

I think you are misunderstanding the situation. His company bought them from a retailer/etailer. As long as the place he got them from is on that list and he gives us an invoice, registration is absolutely possible. All EVGA asks for is the serial and the invoice uploaded. They do not ask for the UPC from the box- that's common in rebates, not RMA/registration.

My company is server solution company and no they are not registered retailer however, you can just put others as place purchased during registration process and put my company name as they deal directly with evga. if you are so worried, i can register in your behalf prior to shipment with your name if you provide me your info. so will that answer your question?

your questions were answer via PM and thank you for the clarification above. this is not promo product so no need to cut up the box and send cpu label.

in the op, i did say i'll include copy of purchase order. it shows all the information for warranty purpose the date i ordered, where i ordered and when i got it etc etc (even shows tracking numbers). i chose not to upload copy because it does contain my personal information on there but the buyer will have a copy of this.
