Desktop not Fullscreen

I just got done building a new PC, and I this is the first time I have actually used Catalyst Control Center. And after installing the updated graphic driver and everything by desktop is not span accrossed my whole screen. I have a 24" monitor and its showing like its on a 20" monitor.

I looked through my monitor and everything and I can't use it to stretch out the screen, is there something in CCC that will fix this?

And my resolution is sitting at 1920x1080, at 60hertz, so I don't know why its not working.

Pix? Did you try adjusting the resolution? And is it like that online and in all programs or just the desktop?

Sounds like overscan to me.

I don't know how to set overscan in the new CCC interface, but it's there somewhere.

I checked the new CCC and its much the same.

I would assume that you are in fact using a DVI or an HDMI cable and not a vga....correct??

well known ATI HDMI bug. easy fix.

you just need to set it to 100% on the overscan.
