Just played a game that totally kicks ass story wise .. SINGULARITY

I was getting respectable frame rates(i.e.between 45 to 70) on a 9800gt and the graphics were kick ass IMO which greatly impressed me.. res was 1024X768 but bloom,depth of field and distortion were enabled.. I know.. Not alot of video option and THIS is what impressed me..IT Looks so good with little options.. Well to me it did.. Reminded me of F.E.A.R.

Did wanna chance it high quality decals.. heheheh Think I might now though

<EDIT> I upped the graphics to 1600X1200..My monitors max with high quality decals on and the frame rates was from 60 to 121.. LOL.. go figure.. impressive frame rate with an older video card and the graphics are really kool looking IMO

The only game that i could think to play only for the story is The Witcher.
Mass Effect have a pretty good story but the second game kill the story for me.
Assassins creed have a pretty historical story but the future storyline wasn't really that great (it does love put a mind screw at the ending though).
The other game i have played that have good story is Bioshock and Half life 2 but not nearly enough to get me interested in the storyline.

wasnt aimed at your game theres a few red headed step childs in the lists by people that dont really belong in a best story, the games all have merit but theres very few that should be given best story. theres alot of games here im seeing that just dont hit that mark.

STALKER franchise in general. Normally I give up and lose interest in games pretty easily, hell I never even beat Crysis, got bored once I reached the alien ship. But I have played each of the STALKER games through beginning to end, and most of them several times because of how the game forks with different choices and endings.

Can't wait for the next installment :laugh:
