I have been looking for a new water pump ( The one I have is fine and is working great , Though I have no idea what brand it is other than it has corsair on it ) . I need your input on these water pumps . What do you think of them ?

Out of those 4.. Swifty MCP655 with the speed control.. #3 johnny..

Reasoning on the factor:
Smaller then the first 2, so can be placed in a case better
has more head room.
Speed control allows for maximum flow when needed, and slower when just using it for browsing. That is if you can get to the back easy enough.

Yeah, the Stacker is a big boy.. But, even if you look at the two Eheim on GPH.. they aren't even close to what the Swifty can do.. 317gph

Might want to go to PPC and buy.. If you don't mind to buy from them.. Their Cheaper

It's almost making look like their might be a revision on the 655.. They did it to the 350/355 right before they swapped out to the new one.. Or, PPC just wants to get rid of their stock.

This little doosey beats the pants off the 655. Brand new tech, and it's pretty amazing. Plus, with PWM you never have to worry about noise or variable speed jazz. I really like mine. Sidewinder had them for $95, but they are temp out of stock. This thing is actually so powerful I had to put 5 screw clamps on my tubes to restrict the flow because water was coming into my res so fast, as my blocks have damn near no resistance.

oops.. I linked the wrong one.. you want the straight 655, not the 655-b since the "b" doesn't have the speed control..

link for the 655

While the 35x is their newer tech, and shows to be "better"... I'm not seeing really how I would like it more.. Less Gph, 280 for the 35x, and psi is at 14, while the 655 has 50.. It's nice for when you got a small area, but I just don't see whats so "great" on it..

I had one of those, it is just a rebranded Laing D5, exact same as a 655. I have the blue Corsair like yours, and had a 655 vario, as well. I loved my Jingway 1200, quietest pump made I think, but wanted more flow. Any of the 655s would be a sideways trade for you. If you want the 655 vario, put yours on a fan controller.

Having owned both, there is no comparison. Gph is less than total head. And my 655 never squirted like this little guy. Seriously. That, and like I said, he already has a 655.

Yeah I also seen this . I want the MAX flow I can get and as they are both swiftech there is only one that will give out what I want so I think ( Unless there is some thing ells ) That the MCP655 will be the one for me . I really don't need the speed control as I will be running it at the MAX all the time .

BTW this will not replace the one I have now it is to replace it once it goes out and I have had it for just about 3 years now . And well as it is all fine and no signs of going out I need one just in-case it decides that time has come . I love the fact that it has been supper uber reliable through out all this time and just in-case need to know what I should be replacing it with . As I will be ordering this up this coming week . AND MAX flow rate is what I am really after .

If your pump looks like this, you already have a D5/655. The Corsair is blue, and I have one out in the garage.

And no D5 shoots like this. I have owned 2.

I highly recommend the Swiftech MCP655 12v pump. Mine has been going solid for...geez..maybe 3 years. Great pump! Speed control is nice to dial in your system flow.
