Ok, so my rig got stolen at a LAN this easter, and I didn't have insurance, so I'll have to buy a new one. So far, these are the parts I've chosen:
GPU: ASUS Radeon HD 6970 2GB "DirectCU II"
MB: ASUS SABERTOOTH X58
FANS: 3x Cooler Master Excalibur (2 for the H70, 1 for the gpu fan duct thing in the case)
CASE: Cooler Master HAF X
RAM: Corsair Dominator GT 1866MHz 12GB
PSU: Corsair HX 1000W
CPU: Intel Core™ i7 Quad Processor i7-960
CPU Cooler: Corsair H70
SSD: OCZ Vertex 3 120GB
Does this look like a decent build? Is the PSU good enough?
I'm gonna be playing CS:S, Black Ops and Crysis 2, and I guess BF3 when it's released. Maybe I should go for the XFX Radeon HD6990 instead? What do you guys think?
