GTX560 Ti .vs. HD 6870

Looking to only upgrade my GPU.
As the topic title states, which is faster?

I know the GTX560 Ti is at least $20 more. Is the extra $20 worth it?

So I am going for the CHEAPEST versions of both cards.
A referenced GTX560 Ti (EVGA), and a referenced HD 6870 (Sapphire).

There is no Overclocking intended.
I really don't think I need to for the games I play, and will be playing.

AND

Will my PSU need to be upgraded to 750Watts?
I do plan to OC my CPU to 4.0Ghz once I've gotten the new Video Card.
RAM will also be Overclocked as well.

I vote a quad core processor as well. You mention in another thread that you play Battlefield Bad Company 2. Upgrading the processor will almost double your frame rate in that particular game.

Why dont you get a hd 6950 is in that price range (at least the 1gb model) a and change your cpu.

I guess I will.

I play in 1680x1050 anyway, so a 1GB 6950 would be perfect.

EDIT: GTX 560 Ti might be a better choice, as it performs faster than a HD 6950.

These threads are pointless. All one needs to do is look at reviews. In W1zzard's reviews both cards are listed for the resolution you use.
