Program to reset/delete/rename forgotten windows login password??? HELP

Ok guys i need your help. I have a laptop here that has a password on it but they lady has forgotten it.

Now ive tried a few different programs to reset or remove the password but with no luck, they all say trail version and you need to pay if you want it to full work ARGH.

Does any one know of one that is free and works great?

Its for Windows 7 by the way.

Just looking for a program that i can use on a CD or USB drive to reset/delete/rename etc the password on this lappy so i can give it back to her asap.

Ultimate boot CD can do it. Not sure what the app itself is called, it runs from Linux.
Also, be sure to reset it to nothing, resetting it to something often fails.

I did try one that runs into linux, but it didnt work. But it wasnt called Ultimate boot.

Look for the "NT Offline Password Remover". Burn it to a disc and boot from it, then follow the on-screen instructions (DOS prompt) or google info on it.

Only 32 bit versions of Win7. There's no tool for 64 bit Win7. Hiren's was the first place I checked, no doubt as you did

could you not just boot into safe mode and login under the full admin account?

I think that's disabled by default in Vista onwards.

Yea its turned off by default, so you can not enter through admin unless you turn admin on in windows before hand, i real pain in the ass it is.
