I would be better if they made a modern Starsiege, or another mechanized combat game in the Earthsiege universe (which is damned underrated for how amazing it really is).

Starsiege had two great sp campaigns and it was totally awesome in online play too

a couple Tribes titles are in development. 'Ascend' is the smaller one for XBLA & PC. probably the wrong one to get excited for :laugh:

you have made my year!!!! or perhaps decade (as its been 10 years since tribes 1)....
I remember this game got me into FPS gaming and upgrading for games..... went and bought a Riva TNT2 with 32mb ram which was kickass at the time and cost a fortune lololol....

Have high hopes for this!!!!

lol... how old are you ... as when this game came out it was cutting edge and still has apsects of gaming that havent been recreated to date.... i think if i were to have played it for the first time a few years after launch i would share a similar outlook, but this game had a major impact on me in both gaming and computer hardware/modding/upgrading.

I was also an expert at the renegade mod (heavy armour class) in the games and have never found a game with that much skill level needed to succeed! hope my reflexes havent slowed down that much as id like to be pwning once again tribes style

In case you still haven't realized, Tribes: Ascend is developed by the very new Hi-rez studios who has only made one game called Global Agenda and it kinda sucked.

Could be good. I loved Tribes 2. Tribes 3 was a great game, but they went up against UT2K4 and lost.
