I have a quad monitor display plus a 5th that I want to use for monitoring my PC status and network activity.

Is there ONE program out there that monitors all this and has nice visual appeal using a whole display? Most ones I run into just do PC and limited network or vice versa.

I am looking for something better than windows Perform monitor.

rainmeter is customizable. you can skin and choose what it will display.
only limited by your imagination :)

it does require a couple different apps depending on what you want to monitor,
but that's normal. and it still reads them all out how and where you want.

Excellent! I don't mind investing some time and money in this venture. Thanks for the suggestion.

Samurize is a customisable monitoring tool, altho I don't really get how to use it.

You can use a couple of apps and arrange them on the 5th monitor. Should open there everytime you restart. Although that would not be as cool.

Have you looked at windows gadgets?

Yes, right now I use CPUID HWmonitor,Windows Perform Monitor, and Net Limiter 3 Pro. Each one is on a third of the monitor.

I was hoping for on program that could give me the information that these three give in one GUI. :(

This is what I am doing right now.

Hmm yeah. not very schmexy.

HAve you looked at rainmeter? I never played with it, my first thought was also samuraize.

Might also check out windowsblinds community. its not freeware, although many of the apps included in purchase can be used as freeware:)

Just tried Rain meter a little tonight. Will look at Windowsblinds too. :rockout:

Any other advice out there? Surely out of all the dumb programs written out there someone has written a complete monitoring solution?

Thanks, but it does not seem to be windows 7 compatible. :ohwell:

Which is a shame, it was a great program. You had to script alot yourself though, but if you were handy with it it could do miracles.
