Window MOD help?

After viewing the window sticky I decided I need to cutout a side panel on an H2 case. I already contacted cyberdruid however as his login's are infrequent and I have no idea if he will help me out or not. So I'm putting it out there to anyone that can help. I'll obviously pay for the help, let me know. :toast:

I can take care of the acrylic it's just the cutout on the actual side panel that has me worried. If anyone feels up to the challenge or knows where I can go to get a custom cut out please let me know. :toast:

Cyberdruid's guide is great like I told you I will cut it if you don't want too. The inside cuts to the bays well I don't want to touch that lol.

That's it! I have had zero responses from anyone though so we may have to get together and see if we can make some clean cuts just a little worried on the panel since that is what shows, the drive bays I'm cutting out are fine since they will be hidden if I screw up.

the best way to do something like this is to practice yourself. what if you need to do it again? you'll need to ask another member of this or another forum for help. i could've asked a specialist site to cut it for me, it would've cost me more than the side panel was worth. instead, i practised on scrap metal, then finally measured it out to the millimetre and took my time cutting. the results couldn't be better. this after i was so worried about cutting my first side panel.

will see about taking some pics tonight and throuwing them up. It will be a window similar to what Fatal posted a link too. FYI I'm modding the nzxt H2. Also I was just going to use a dremel to cut the window and drive bays any tips on how to do the drive bays or do I just start hacking away?

Using a Dremel is an art-form. Again, you should practise on scrap first to get a feel for it. the thing to know about using a Dremel to cut something big like a side window, is take your time. and use one of those re-inforced cut-off wheels, they last a lot longer than the small ceramic discs. ideally, use a jigsaw with a blade for cutting metal.
