Tough to beat.

Save 20 and get the 1090T since they're identical. They don't seem to even be binned different.

LOL at your avatar. I can't decide if I should plop in an X6 (at least 4 ghz) or go with a POS 8120 and O/C it to 5 ghz. I can achieve a little better speed from tweaking than reviews.
Intel can slobber on my knob, but they will never get my money, ever. I will buy a phase change setup and run that 24/7 if need be.

Sorry, OP. Free bump again :p

Ye I have the 1090T and have it at 4ghz easy. No question 1090T > 1100T.

The 1100T is for peeps who want slightly higher clocks and are willingly to pay for it because they don't know how to overclock. But it's so easy nowadays.

Unless you get an offer on the 1100T, save a few £/$ and get the 1090T.

I was about to order one myself just now... until I compared the load power usage against that of Intel's comparable procs. Still, for highly threaded workloads at sub-2600 prices, you can't argue with AMD. Intel just have to be difficult as usual and force everybody towards their most expensive offerings - otherwise they'd have put HT on the 2500(k), and Vt-d for that matter :shadedshu
