Which one of these LGA775 boards would you go with?

These are them:

Asus P5Q Pro
Asus P5Q Deluxe
Asus P5Q3 Deluxe Wifi-AP

Need a board for my Core 2 CPU and I'm running out of time on Ebay. All the reviews are much of a muchness so I need some quick opinions.

My current (broken) board is a P5W DH Deluxe. Are the above superior to my current board, or not?

I like to play games!

Asus P5Q3 Deluxe as it supports DDR3 and DDR3 is a lot cheaper then DDR2. and it should overclock better.

More memory bandwidth = win

Depending on the price. If you already have plenty of DDR2, the cheapest one.

P5Q Deluxe although i don't think you need it. A better Video card would be better and there after a CPU.

better ddr3 coz the ram is pretty cheap now, they offer better performance over ddr2 :toast:

Well yeah, but if the board is a lot more expensive it'd be a waste imo. It's a gone platform anyway.

If I were you, Id migrate to a new platform. Sice youd be buying ddr3s, reinstalling OS and stuff, might as well go for a Sandy, or a 2nd hand nehalem

If you can get it cheap, get the P5Q3.
Otherwise, why not just get an i3-21xx, and a cheap SB mobo? It would be much better performance for you; it would literally be a 2x performance increase in most areas and +30-50% in games.

I went with a P5Q Deluxe.

Any recommendations on a stable and fast RAM for this board in the £40 to £50 ($64-$80) price range?
