Lol, I think all DFI 939 boards had issues.

I owned 2 of them and both were very tempramental. There was never anything actually wrong with them you just had to have the right memory, right psu, right everything or they just wouldn't work.

I remember the bios on my old cfx3200. It had like 100 different memory options.

i found a stock AMD cooler fan. The noisy type. it had a wobbly fin due to an accident with my finger, but i mended with super glue and epoxy. i speed tested it to 6500rpm. works like a charm. pm me if you want it.

Welland external usb/sata 2.5 hdrive case and corsair 120ml fan.saitek usb controller & 80ml fan , brand new modem netgear dsl.all working fine,ill have a look for more and update when i find more.

PS- im going to replace my mobo soon, i cant sell it because the sound chip on its not working, but everything else is just no sound,,[i just got a cheap sound card to fix that issue],its a p8z68 m-pro asus. if someone wants it , Soon as i get a new board,[next 2 weeks or so] its up for grabs to someone on here.?das would u like it?

I found the card listed on CL for only $20. The guy I got it from said he bought ti for his desktop, but for some reason he couldn't get it to work. So he took it out of his comp. About two weeks later, he says he had lightning hit his house and fry his computer(without the GTS450 in it). So he bought a laptop and didnt have a need for it. The guy wasn't hurting for money(I could tell that by his house/neighborhood. If he was trying to scam, he would have been asking for more money than just $20)). I've had the card in my computer and have played BF3 with it, so I know it works fine.

I originally thought about keeping it as a back up, but I'm running two cards and both cards are stronger than what the 450 is. So I really don't need it. And when I saw this thread, I thought" Hell, this is perfect".

So, anyone that feels they deserve this card, send me a PM and tell me why you feel you deserve it. I'll make my choice tomorrow morning EST and PM the person that will get it. The card will be shipped tomorrow sometime.

I'm picking up some of the stuff from DrunkenMafia for an HTPC build I've been wanting to do...keeping my sig PC on 24/7 is really killing my power bill

My hot water heater just decided to rot out and leak right out of warranty and now I have to use the money I was going to buy x-mas presents with for that. This has been a horrible past couple months for me. I have literally bought only 2 presents so far, one for my girlfriend and one for my older sister. I still have my son, my brother, my younger sister, and parents to shop for. Being a home owner has its disadvantages sometimes...

I understand the home owner thing. We've put way to much money unexpectedly into this house. Now we need to do some foundation/concrete work. Hopefully some free stuff will help brighten your holidays. :toast:
