All the upper echelon coolers (Blue Orb, Big Typhoon, Scythe Infinity, etc.) perform almost the same. The range is no more than 2 degree celcius at most. Basically it will come down to the design and the look. Coolermaster has some neat looking cooler. My Scythe Infinity does a slightly better job than the Zalman CNPZ9500 but it's rediculously huge and looks fugly. I actually preferred the Zalman but already sold it to a friend. JDpower, if you have the cash, go for the TEC. They will do a better job but they cost more.

I dunno, I want to try out a new cooler. Heh, its like wanting new shoes, but you really don't need them because the shoes that you have are still kinda new.
I don't think I've ever had that problem. I wear my shoes until they're so worn they're either A- poking into my feet or B- I can see my socks while wearing my shoes.

Um, on a more serious note. I may have just had a bad experience with Thermaltake, but in terms of cooling, I'd stick with Arctic Cooling, Thermalright, or Zalman. All three of those companies make fantastic, quiet, well built, reliable, and high performance coolers. You can't go wrong with anything from either of them :).

Yea, I dunno the LED on the Blue Orb II is some what a tacky LED, looks more mixed with green and blue instead of a full on BLUE LED. Looks weird if you ask me...

The Monsoon Tec cooler by Vigor is nice, but I think I'd rather put money into a Watercooling setup for my whole rig. I def want to watercool my VGA card. The fan on this thing sounds like a Jet at 100% and what I have OC'd too (729/1116) the fan is at 100% 75% of the time, and sometimes I get annoyed. Also I hear ppl WC'ing the X1950 series cards and the temps dropping dramaticaly, from 70C+ Load to 40C load :twitch:

The WC'ing kit that I would get would be the Swiftech Ulta Kit, comes with MCP655 pump, Dual 120mm Rad, Apogee CPU block, Chipset Block, MCW60 VGA block with MC14W Ramsinks, Tubing w/ rings (no kinks), and Coolant for $350.00USD

No doubt it is a great cooler. I have both the AC Freezer 64 pro, and a Zalman 9700. Though I find that I get better OC results (cooler CPU) using the Zalman.
