it just goes to show that given time modders will fix what bethesda is unwilling to, it just takes them god damn forever to do hahaha.

sadly im still without proper crossfire support do to 4gb mod, oh well, once 1.2 patch gets its drm removed ill test the un encumbered version out and see what the difference is.

It also appears 1.2 patch breaks more things then it fixes from spells, to Dragons it has some serious bugs. that are worse then the ones they fixed.

I use Dibella's shrine + amulet of Dibella + mask of clavicus vile to get + 35 to speechcraft on top of 20% better prices, helps a bunch when trying to make large sums of gold.

Without a doubt I get a much better exchange rate than that and I don't use any of those enchants because if i did it would bring the value of my items up even higher and I already can't sell them at the SELL price because the vendor can't afford it. :laugh:

In game my wife Mjoll the Lioness, has 3900 gold currently waited a few in game days she sold stuff i sold to her shes now up to 5000 gold give or take.

wot be patching the game for now hehe (offline mode) with all these new problems (i hear flame atronachs die with fire now? XD). LAA seems to be giving me more trouble than improvement in my case so i just reverted back to the original one (i see no real improvement anyway since i don't use any mod that requires huge amount of memory)

Is anyone able to give me their version number for their launcher and exe? I am not sure if mine updated as I have to do mine via VPN.. but I used my VPN and steam just goes straight to the Skyrim launcher.

My current versions:

Yeah apparently all resistances are totally effed by the patch. Ugh Bethesda. So this is things like resistance to magic, frost etc. incl on enchanted items. Perhaps even soul trapping too but haven't seen mention.

Guess gonna start up Steam offline too as can't remember if turned off auto. But even so...

Edit: Oh wait there's apparently more:

IF YOU ARE PC, DON'T INSTALL PATCH!!

Disable steam and set to 'never update'. Try to play in offline if you can. Use TESV.exe from disk if you still have it (no drm)

At the very least, BACK UP YOUR SAVED GAMES BEFORE INSTALLING

Contains crashes when you fight frost or fire dragons and have racial frost/fire resistance! (ie. nord verus ice dragon)

Resistances broken against other fellows

Dragon AI broken/flight path

Saves (on 1.2) get corrupt and crash game when you try to load them.

Hmm corrupted saves too? My hunch is that may not be across the board but backing them up before a patch is a general good practice anyway.

Edit 2: Now seeing reports that disabling auto-update still updates it. Need to be in Offline mode.

assuming you have a 1gb card go to you're skyrimprefs.ini and change these settings

iShadowMapResolution=
Set that to 4096

And change
iBlurDeferredShadowMask=
to 32

Looks a lot better IMO, makes the shadows a lot softer round the edges rather than have GLARING pixel edges :laugh:

FPS hit 1-2 fps with my rig in specs ( cept phenom II 720 @ 3.64 instead)

Exactly. Ah screw offline mode I'm just gonna launch it in hopes it's been pulled. If not I have a backup of my game folder.

Edit: Damnit, not pulled. Paused before it finished d/l. And ya I had it to not update wtf Steam...

I was unable to play in Offline mode. Let it update then replaced whole Skyrim folder from backup.
