Thats why I double checked, most people work 8 hour shifts 5 days a week. So during those 5 days wit would be 16 Hours of Skyrim + 8 Hours of Work + 0 Hours of sleep = 24 Hours. Even on his "weekends" the average person needs 8 hours of sleep, that would mean 16 hours for skyrim and 8 hours for sleep, 0 for anything else.

If you're running vanilla the components I can think off that can cause these symptoms are the RAM & hdd.

I have had a stuttering inside caves.
It would only happen whenever I moved and happen every second.

Strangely it turned out to me a data usage counter application I had open in the background.
I minimized the application and the problem stopped.

You may also find when using clairvoyance in caves which have a high amount of fog, you will get a small stutter as well when using it.
This slight stutter happens on XOX360 under the same environment too.

Well the only monitor I have open is fraps, reckon that could be the culprit?

I have not used fraps in Skyrim.
The application I am using is windows application running in the background which is simply counting the time.

You could try running the game again with fraps until you come to an area which has the stutter, save game, close out and then close fraps and load the save again to see if the stutter is still there.

lmao yeah that was silly of me, I hadn't realized a month has gone by already since I became "Unbound" . But anywho 64 hours the past 2 weeks is still pretty crazy for me, not even WoW was able to take up that much of my time.

Disabling the 3D Map Mod fixed my problem of not being able to load back into Whiterun after entering Dragonsreach.

Still though, a grand total of 10 million units shipped (not sold) and $650 million at retail on all platforms only serve to hammer home an obvious point: Skyrim’s kind of a big deal. Something tells me Tiny Tim the crippled Mudcrab is gonna have a magical Christmas after all. Well, until someone shouts him off a cliff, anyway.

Attention TPU News Team: Now THAT is news. Skyrim the fastest selling Steam title ever, and also getting $650million on all platforms as well, still no easy feat. And considering that Skyrim doesn't necessarily attract the "typical crowd" of MW3, thus meaning they're quite a smaller target market for Skyrim compared to MW3. Yet in terms of sales they're not that far off.

Is there multiplayer in Skyrim? Can you shoot Rambo-style in Skyrim? Would all the arrows in Skyrim hit all the guards in the knee when you reach a 25-kills "streak"? Is there a scoring system in Skyrim? Can an arrow shot towards the sky and bouncing off the walls of Riften's highest guard tower suddenly hit a guard in the knee in much the same way as actually shooting the guard in the knee?

I'm not surprised Skyrim sold so well.
I think there are quite a few points which make Skyrim such a big seller.

I think the biggest point is it's one of those games which both male and female enjoy just as much.
War shooters do not have as much of a following by female PC gamers.
It does not induce as much nerd rage since you are not playing other people.
There is no off putting dues to the potential of people using cheats against you for the win.
The strong modding community for Skyrim and quality of the mods made.

for all its flaws, this game is far, far more polished than most titles. all the cod games are really linear and you get scripting bugs by the dozen if you cant figure out what exact spot you're meant to be standing at the right time, wheras in skyrim you can fuck off, leap off a cliff into a river and search for buried treasure instead of fighting the dragon like you're supposed to.


this is a game with freedom, in a generation of linear corridor shooters. of COURSE its leaping off the shelves.

iirc Magicka Regen gives the most value to rings so you can make some decent money selling off your enchanted rings. Also, I just append "crap" to the beginning of the name for all of them so I don't mix 'em up with unenchanted rings. So get into a rhythm just doing that over and over.

Fortify Sneaking actually gives a much better return, cash wise. And gold rings are extremely good to make. I learned the Transmute spell, wandered around with a stack of Iron, and transmuted everytime I remembered to check my Magicka level. Made a huge stack of rings, and then chanted and sold them.

I've heard that if you get sneaking up to lvl 100, then after some time it bugs up and although you get to 101 and 102 it's like if you got back to level one.

Did anyone encounter this?

My sneak skill is still 100, and thats a dozen hours beyond already, nothin changed, and my stealth skill is just 2/5. I didn't increased it beyond that since i suspect that you will be almost invisible just like in their previous games hehe.

Yes, that's it! I forgot, but I remember now that you mentioned it. Also, I love that transmute spell.

I didn't increased it beyond that since i suspect that you will be almost invisible just like in their previous games hehe.

I don't think that is a bad thing,is fun to get close to your enemies and cut their throat and go on unseen,but that depends on the way you like to play,sometimes i go into fights to lvl up my armour skill.

its subjective yes, but 2/5 is more than enough for me, in broad daylight they can still see me in their line of sight but can't when not, on semi dim environment where im still mostly visible they can no longer see me at the particular level. Maxed it Oblivion, Fallout 3 and NV and it was pretty ridiculous hehe.

I've just installed the enhanced shaders mode, aside from being able to enable to fps counter it doesn't appear to do anything at all ( tried hitting f12 to disable it/enable it but still doesn't appear to do anything)

Aside from setting my device/vendor ID(done this already) is their anything else I need to do to get it working.

Thanks for any help, looking mostly for dungeons etc to be a lil darker because frankly, I've never had to use a torch or orb.

In oblivion I used them fairly often.

oblivion had that, rarther than statying at the cap it resets. The value was 255 but with enough hours of gameply it wasn't hard to hit thatwith your main. For my characters it's typically athletics (avoiding fast travel and turning on always run gets you there quickly) so I had to avoid any potions or items that boosted that because it would cause it to reset to whatever the buff was. )so if the buf was +5 my athletics would be set at 5 with that item on, 255 without).
