Ok, pretty good, but:

Get a Momentus XT 500 GB as I do not believe the 320 is being sold any more. The 500 GB is only $140 USD, so I don't think it will be a big price difference.

I would consider a NZXT Source 210 Elite case as well. They are about $10 USD cheaper and have USB 3.0 for future proofing. Either that or a Fractal Design Core 3000 which should be similarly priced, comes with an extra fan over the Antec 300 and should also be easier to work with.

Is your sig out of date, or does your GPU/s consist of a single 9600gt?

It's OK with the 320GB Seagate i can get one. I like the look of the Fractal Design Core 3000.

good balanced build, but I would not spend the money on a momentus XT

just get a basic drive, you will be fine with it, and you can save alot of $$

If you do stick with the Momentus, I still say get the 500 GB as it is one of the new versions which are suppose to be up to 33% faster than the original Momentus XT drives.

If you do decide to go with a basic drive, check prices for at least 1 TB. That way if you upgrade to an SSD or Momentus XT in the future, it should serve well as a storage drive.

I see i'll look for the cheapest 500GB Momentus XT.

Some thoughts on your config :
-MSI Z68S-G43 Motherboard - stay away from MSI mobos, they thend to die more frequently than other brands. MSI uses some combo PWM chip that is super unreliable. Get some other Z68 board, preferably Gen3 for future IvyBridge PCI-E 3 upgrade;
- Corsair TX750W PSU - better get V2 , because it is more efficient Seasonic unit. Price should be the same;
- 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair DDR3 XMS3 1600 - that is not a good decision , based on overclocking potential of DIMMs. Better find some G.SKILL Ripjaws;
- Antec 300 case - my favourite cases are Corsair Carbide 400R and CoolerMaster 690 II Advanced.

Could you show me some gen3 mobos that aren't MSI that are cheapish? By gen 3 you mean PCI-e 2.0 but can upgrade to 3.0?

I was looking at those RipJaws also.

I finally chose the NZXT Source 220 Case with USB 3.0 for just under £50.

Solid case.

For PCIe 3.0, either the board supports it or it does not. Any PCIe 2.0 device will work just fine on a motherboard with PCIe 3.0 slots, it will just run with PCIe 2.0 speed. There is no way to upgrade to PCIe 3.0 from 2.

I have done a little more digging and the new Momentus XT drives are not full released. They can be spotted by the support for SATA 6 Gbps instead of SATA 3 Gbps. From what I can tell on the 750 GB new model is available for now. They are still solid choices for a drive, but I wanted to clarify that.

As for the PSU, stick with the 650W or more if you can afford it as it gives you plenty of upgrade options in the future.

To my understanding 650W PSU shall be enough for this PC build. Although SLI and Crosfire of two high-end GPUs will require at least 750W. Also having second pair of PCIe cabels comes in handy, but is not available on 650W PSU in most cases.

My two cents:
- A 750w or even 600w PSU is way overkill. Look at my specs, my cheap-ish 430w unit could almost handle two of your PCs. I'd suggest you look for a 350w PSU that's at least 80+ bronze certified, you can find them for under 40€ / 50$ / 35GBP. At the low wattages you're using, it will also be a lot more efficient than a 750w unit, saving you money in the long run.
- Get a full-sized hdd. While the XT is a nice concept, it's just about comparable to a regular 3,5" drive. I'd say pretty much any 7200rpm drive works, i'd recommend Seagate, Samsung or WD. You'll get more space for your money, and if you need more hdd performance you can still throw in a Corsair Accelerator caching SSD for 70$.
