I like that term "suicide run" lol. You can just imagine it posting a trillion gigglehurtz, a quick boot into Windows and the thing explodes into a ball of fire!

+1 for the phrase "suicide run." Also sounds like a good band name.

Nice clocks. Glad to see the design scale so well...I wonder what sort of overclocks we'll get on air?

Very tempted to buy one of these chips to play with.

In general I see this as more of a suicide boot, not a run. It sort of implies it was done in effort to "run" something other than just Windows.

I like that these have the ability to go that far, but personally would have preferred to see 95% OC running a bench, or even something as lame as Crysis with ridiculous frame rates:p

K stands for BLACK. Someone explained this long ago that "K" code means black in i don't know which programming language.
AMD had Black Edition processors for ages...

K stands for Black in the color process CMYK, Cyan Magenta, Yellow, and Black.

The A8-3870K equals the A8-3870 Black Edition

Instead of saying two words more you only say one letter...it's more efficient

The K in the K(Number) means Core 10/Core 15 and such

He's got an unlocked CPU which allows changes to both GPU and CPU portions of the chip.

You've got a locked chip so you're out of luck.
