The programming part is easy. The software is very intuitive. You can choose between typing code by hand, use the function buttons or just let the program record your movements. The programming language is similar to C, I think.

This is interesting. Sounds like a well laid out mouse. I will post a mini review here in this thread once it arrives.

I got my X7 today and im testing it out but honestly the feel alone is better than my MX518, Its more fluid. Mini review is coming!

Of the mice I've owned the only I liked better than the deathadder is my Sidewinder X8 which is definitely not cheaper. :p

i really don't know why people shell out ridiculous amounts of money for razer mice, i absolutely despise my friend's copperhead - i always accidentally click the side buttons, the scroll is pathetic (the rubber slides on the underlying plastic wheel when scrolling slowly). i am biased, i've been using my logitech mx510 for 7 years now and i absolutely love it (the only issue is my right click died a few days ago, turned out the microcontroller's crapping out) and i'm going to replace it with the relatively cheap and identically nice g400.

the g400 is /thread for me.
