[WTB] 2x/4x agp card

I need a 2 or 4x AGP card for my old Syntax SV266M board. I think the onboard is dead.
I do not wish to spend more than $10 on one. Free if I can get it (i would pay for shipping).

Will this card work on a Socket A board with a 2/4x slot? i realize it is a 4/8x board but i am still cautious about it.

As long as the board has a available AGP slot and supports 2x/4x/8x the card should function just fine.

well currently, i turn it on but receive no video at all and no beep so i figure it must be the onboard is gone.

***update***
Ive been reading about issues like this with that board and think the board might be shot or maybe the cpu. not sure.
Im looking into either replacing the board/cpu/ram or going with an arduino setup. im just using this system for usenet downloading.
