i have two work trucks. i would like to be able to track them real time. what are the cheapest solutions for me? from what i see there are lots of options but has anyone ever worked with them?

gps. I worked with qualcomm in swift trucks before they are very nice.

Need a driver?

None that I can think of. If you have some links as to what you think are good or you are looking at and are not sure about post them maybe we can get a better idea of what you are looking at and help.

Have you done a search on AVL yet, should bring up a lot of options for you, some use cell base tracking, others use radio. Just have to find what fits your budget. I work for FedEx and we use a system based off of cell sites called Webtech.

before you consider even purchasing a fleet gps tracking system, you should check and make sure it saves you money. check vigilancegps.com/calculate_roi.php they have a free roi calculator that verifies Idle Times, Wear and Tear, and speeding.

I agree, may be less expensive to just hire new employees. Even using the free software out there, he's still into SIM fees, hardware and time to set all of this up.

well what is the reason for having the GPS stuff in, and why is their integrity in question, are they making stops else where?
