edit: ahh crap, this is a BL 1 trailer...oh well, still funny :)

Loved that commercial...... "Hey Steve..... Eioooo *shoots the guy xD"

I cant wait for Borderlands 2. Currently replaying it again with friends on both PC and 360.

Also for those interested there is a tool to transfer the 360 save files to the PC version if you want to transfer your character.

what was cool was having a revolver style shot gun and plus a Red Assault Rifle that was M16 style, The First Rare Machine gun definitly worked on bugs for sure

I thought you said borderlands was gay, good find though

That clip reminds me of Serious Sam. Hordes of enemies and using the back key a lot.

but will it use Nvidia Physx?

Yes it will.

The PC version of Gearbox Software’s upcoming Borderlands 2 is set to support many PhysX enhancements. These include water that reacts accurately to a player’s movements, rippling and splashing around the environment as you walk through it.

Borderlands 2 also makes use of PhysX to render destruction. For example, fire a rocket launcher into the ground, and huge chunks of earth and gravel fly into the air. The resulting debris settles on the floor, where you can kick it around by walking through it.

At NVIDIA’s press event we were treated to a demo of Borderlands 2 with PhysX enhancements including some impressive water simulation, enhanced (destructible!) cloth physics and volumetric smoke trails from rockets, which animated beautifully.

At NVIDIA’s Editor’s Day, Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford showed off Borderlands 2 and how it implemented PhysX. Fluids pooled and flowed in complete real-time, and even reacted to explosions — splashing about into numerous smaller puddles.

Cloth materials reacted accordingly to foreign objects, and could even be torn and shredded when fired at.

It was quite incredible how these effects could be handled with such relative ease in real-time, when just five years ago it took me several hours to render them for 3D animations on a high-end PC.

No. Just, no. Borderlands is a cell-shaded game.

It better not be a cripple because of that.

I think they made the cell-shading work well. I really enjoyed it. TBH unless they can invest in something as impressive as frostsbite, they shouldn't try. I would rather it be distinct and unique than pretty.

the original borderlands ending was terrible too, the final boss was lame. BUT the dlc was awesome. (crawmerax FTW)

Mildly disappointing they didn't go with Havoc, I just don't see the point in pigeon holing what 30 - 40% of the people who play the game when I can't say Havoc has ever let me down.

I am glad I have a Nvidia card so I can atleast play the game decent. I do hate when the Nvidia based games are HORRIBLE on AMD. My 5850 choked out BADLY on Metro 2133 but my GTX 460 had no issues.

No. Just, no. Borderlands is a cell-shaded game.

It's not true Cell-Shading. I remember when they first showed SS of it people were worried it would be a cartoony game like XIII was, but they clarified dozens of times that it's not actually Cell-Shading, but increasing the thickness of all the lines\outlines to give excessive contrast.
