I was just wondering if the 6790 is good for mid level gaming and will it support 2 screens? I'm building a pc for my brother and he wants dual screen and he only play Combat Arms, he wants it to play on high setting(Combat arms doesn't use a lot of GPU).

Yes but honestly I would spend a "few more" dollars literally and get a 6850 :)

Open Box: MSI R6850-PM2D1GD5/OC Radeon HD 6850 1GB...

Either one will work fine for Combat Arms by all means well over 100fps.
But the 6850 has great overclocking range and is even capable of playing games like BF3 fairly decently.

*Edit
Another good question is, what is the rest of the system?

Ditto, my 6870 was open box :)

So have a number of mainboards and other graphics cards.

Hey I'm about to sell a MSI R6970 2GB; if you want PM me. Otherwise I think the 6790 will be sufficient for Combat Arms.

So, basically, open items are just "open" and never been used or it been used couple of times?

My integrated Radeon HD 4250 is playable for combat arms at 1080p at high. So I'm fairly sure that a 6790 is overkill for "just" combat arms.
Though it's always nice to have some headroom. For a bit less for a new card you can get a 7750 which is faster at compute (I think.) and therefore might be better for GPU acceleration. It's also more energy efficient (not that it really matters at this energy point most likely). And supports a couple new technologies, and you'll get an extra year of driver updates and it supports DX11.1 for when Windows 8 comes out. Just a thought.
SAPPHIRE 11202-00-20G Radeon HD 7750 1GB GDDR5 PCI...
Otherwise, I'd suggest that open box deal.
