MSI launched its GeForce GT 600 series lineup with as many as four GeForce GT 630, two GeForce GT 620, and three GeForce GT 610 models. Among the GT 630 models are full-height, double-slot ones with 1 GB, 2 GB, and 3 GB SDDR3 memory options; and a low-profile 1 GB variant. The GeForce GT 620 models include a full-height dual-fan; and a low-profile, single-slot variant; both of which are backed by 1 GB of SDDR3 memory. Finishing things off, the GeForce GT 610 contingent includes two active cooled models, with 1 GB and 2 GB memory options, both of which are low-profile and single-slot; and a low-profile, dual-slot, passive cooled model.

but dood it's a 6 series card and moar fans and moar mems means moar fps!

I really wish companies didn't make these (what I would call...) gimmick cards to sell to those who do not know what they're talking about. Seriously I HATE when people think they just bought as beastly card with 3GB VRAM when in reality it's just a re-branded FX5200 with dual slots and fans.:banghead:

its nVidia's fault, don't know why they keep re-branding age old gpus. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

i didn't follow the gpu thing for a longer time but is this still the old FX5200 inside?

If you grow up and have no time to game all day  good old days .....
you start to appreciate just any gpu as long it does what you want, like running your old games

then tell me how bad are these? Just like the old days with geforce 4 mx400 ?

i love my passive 9400gt, paid 32€ new as a special deal and trashed my old rig with Radeon 9800pro :D

if you look on street price, things are different. I saw geforce 210 on the street and went nuts :twitch: thought my geforce 2 200 mx is on sale again, what a night mare

Please tell me that the 620 is better than similarly priced cards that are 3 generations old.. unlike the 520...
