MSI Afterburner showing GPU Temperature, but what about memory clock Temperature

It probably just can't read the memory temp sensor on your card (if it's even got one) don't worry about it

there is no sensor for memory temperature. not on any card

What makes you think you need to check the "memory clock temperature" on the GPU?

The reason make me ask this question is I am sometime overclock memory too much

For example I overclock my BFG GT 220

GPU from 625MHz to 800MHz

memory clock from 400 to 650MHz

now, I have no problem with GPU Temperature.
It's around 49 -59c , So I can Monitoring GPU where I can decide if there a problem or not

but I don't know what about memory.


The wisdom says (I don't know how to explain it in English )

Anyway, so there is no way to know memory clock Temperature !


This mean I have to buy Memory Cooler Cooling

Correct - I've not see a sensor come on standard graphics cards.
It's unlikely the temperature for the memory should ever be an issue - despite that you can buy the heatsinks for them.

It's similar to a motherboards MOSFETS. They don't NEED heatsinks/coolers - bit gimmicky.

If your core/die temperature on the GPU is fine, then you are fine.
If you overclock your memory and it's stable, then it will survive - especially if you haven't changed voltage.
