Gigabyte 670, or a 3570k.

If you just want to spend it, it would be a little bit of an upgrade to get 3570k. Otherwise, if you're looking for graphics upgrade 670s are pretty decent. Or maybe another 6950. Idk

I vote for a non-reference 670.

The EVGA GTX 670 FTW has the same PCB and cooler as a reference GTX 680. So technically it's a "non-reference" GTX 670 because it is essentially a "reference" GTX 680.

I absolutely throw my vote in for the Gigabyte Windforce 670. I have one and am absolutely shocked at what they did. Non-reference PCB, 3 fan, by far the quietest GPU I have ever owned, it comes factory overclocked, and it is still the same price as a reference board.

So heres what I did.

Traded the 6950 for a 3770k, Selling my 2500k, and in the end ill break even so I can still get a GTX 670.

Not bad, not bad at all.

Honestly the 3770k and the 2500k aren't gonna be too much different for gaming but still, nice =D

That was still an awfully nice trade. how did you pull that off? The 3770k if nothing else will be a bit mo betta for crunching and whatnot, not that any of us ever do that =P

If you end up with a 670 and a 3770k tho you are gonna be destroying games

Now you are going to have to get a 120 hz monitor cuz you can game at 120 FPS now. That might be the biggest step. It has been the one thing that made FPS games fun for me again since leaving my CRT so many years ago. Changes your life in those shooters

Already ordered the 670, and the 3770k will be here within a week or two! Looking forward to demolishing games as you put it.

Edit: Went with the ASUS top edition for the hope that ASUS will allow voltage control.

the ASUS TOP Edition is completely acceptable. I am in love with my gigabyte, and I'd say either one of those two are the only ones worth getting.
