Battlefieldo - New 'Aftermath' Expansion Details

The fourth expansion to the Battlefield 3 world has been tightly guarded, until now. EA has recently updated the landing page for Aftermath with some new concept art and some details that have been previously kept tight lipped.

Set amongst the shattered districts, streets and surrounding villages of a post-earthquake Tehran, Battlefield 3: Aftermath depicts a continuing struggle for supremacy and survival amongst the devastation.

With operational capacity severely compromised the opposing forces must adapt and engage in vertical and horizontal urban combat amongst the dust and rubble with cracks and fissures in the terrain providing unexpected cover and paths to objectives. Additional support comes in the form of heavily modified troop transports and civilian vehicles specially adapted to deliver deadly force to the enemy.

KEY FEATURES INCLUDE:

Urban warfare on four new maps

New game mode

New assignments, achievements/trophies and dog tags

New heavily modified military and civilian vehicles - ingenuity and firepower combined

Fight through the dust and rubble, use the earthquake damaged terrain to your tactical advantage

Well granted we only get four maps but if AK actually is anything like what it looks like it could be then I am good with whatever the hell else they want to do. Though the destroyed terrain dynamic does have the potential to be pretty sweet in this Aftermath, too.

So Brandon I was pissed I bought Borderland because they are the shittest Grahics I've seen in years. Then I went into the settings and realized the default setting are the lowest you can go. It looks a 100 times better now. Have you played LAN games on it and can you on Steam? I'm adjusting all my machine for it now. Football season is almost upon us and we are the hang out so I can get people to play. NFL Sunday Ticket

borderlands has the most FUBAR multiplayer I have ever seen. gamespy just sucks.

Haven't even played MP yet. I'm just probably going to use LAN if possible any way. Is that even Fubar ? I paid 7.50 for it so I won't feel to bad.
The SP isn't to bad since I adjusted everything. Fucking no one plays BF3 when I am on so I'm searching for a distraction so I don't get on Facebook
