Looks about right. Finally GK104 is where it should have been in the first place, mid-range. Too bad it had to be crippled.

TweakTown facebook says:

This is with our 3960x @ 4.6GHz

GTX 660 Ti is clocked at 915 / 6004 QDR -Shane

Also they are benchmarking the card so stay tuned.

man this sure makes my 670 at $400 seem waaaaaay overpriced. I am right there with you crapdaddy. If only this card had come out at the mid-range price it was supposed to be and we were able to see an actual top end Nvidia product. I hate the idea that they just got to half-ass this one while twiddling their thumbs and charging double on a card they thought would only be a mid-range.

early buyers alaways pay top dollar.

The difference between 660ti and 670 is bigger than between 680 and 670.
Wonder what the real core clock from autotune is.

Wow, an extremely impressive card. Apparently priced around 7850/7870 levels whilst punching quite a bit higher too. The 7950 just can't catch a break!

Could be the perfect all round 1080P gaming card.

Reaching your left retina.

Pretty much what expected. Not sure about the price tho. I'd expect $300 for the time being. Less than that doesn't make much sense right now, unless IDK, they did trully get a massive preference deal with TSMC and TSMC doing 70% more wafer starts this qurter than the previous (and getting better) has trully enabled them to release GK104 in a form/volume closer to originally intended. This card even at $250 would be very very profitable if they can sell them in high volumes, like GTX460 and 560 did. But of course until now that's been mission impossible, not even close.

If this turns out to be true then its a great gaming card in the sub 399 bracket.

Although something just doesnt seam right considering the GPU-Z screenshot with the 192bit bus and the ROP 24. There GPU-Z screens rumor to be GK104 wonder why he choose to photoshop it out.

The performance hit should be more then differance to 680-670. Plus on some game results it keeps a similar fps decrease if not better then 680-670 and does better on higher Resolution % wise. From the graphs it seams the card performance % wise better at 1920x1200 & 2560x1600 compared to 1680x1050 results.

In the AA results it does better % wise at 2560x1600 then at 1920x1200.

Just odd. Have to wait for other reviews to give a better picture of whats what.

They say why in the preview. They don't have NDA and there's no retail cards. So as they state this is an engineering sample by one of Nvidia's partners and they don't want to give any clues as to which one.

I read that but unless they were the only one who got a GK1xx thats odd..

The other suppose leaked photo had different GPU-Z info. The two are at odds with one another

All 3 contradict each other so far.

Sweclockers seem to be right. You remember the 2 leaked GPU-z shots with a part with 1152 shaders, one 192bit the other 256? That would be the 660 and...?

This is definitely not my card, 24 ROPs and 192 Bit, i know it delivers but its not a card i would be proud to buy.

In this gen if i cant get a GTX 680 at a good price then GTX 670 is as low as i would like to go, reason being i decided to stay away from crippled cards. The GTX 460 is the last crippled card i would like to have with me it had only 1 SM cut off, and its the reason GTX 670 is an option.

But frankly i would like it if each card used a different GPU Chip eg GTX680-GK104, GTX670-GK106, GTX660-GK108,.... something along those lines, not a crippled chip.

Oh and Nvidia should loose the TI variants and stick to numbers alone.

660 SE is always an option. So is 670 SE for the 1152 SP 256 bit card. It's happened in the past with SE and LE parts.

Personally, if there were no possible names and had to choose only 2, I would believe more on TweakTown's card being one of them, because they have been completely accurate in the recent previews. Ever since they are in bad terms with Nvidia they are just leaking the actual thing before anyone else because they didn't sign an NDA, Nvidia apparently doesn't even give them a choice.

It's also entirely possible that Nvidia is simply on a hunt to catch up the leakers and that's why we got so many different specs so...

Don't rush judgement yet. Glancing at the review it looks good but not the great value you got for 670 vs 680. I'm happy I bought my Gigabyte 670 in May.

Hopefully the price is $300, but I have a feeling it's closer to $330-350.
