Naah, I think it's just that the 7000-series has been out for a while now.

This in a nutshell, sure most people have cases that can handle them but the problem is having a motherboard with enough space. If I really wanted to I could fit 3 Direct CU cards in my HAF-X but then the problem is PCI-E slot spacing since even my dual slot Twin Frozr II 6950's are very snug.

I think it is more of what people think about Asus!

They should stick to what they know; MoBo's.

OR release products that are NOT a flop. OR at least support their products.

For the record i can get better tech support from my 8 year old nephew.

I know i personally will never buy another Asus branded product after they screwed me and countless others out of our hard earned cash then told us to fock ourselves when we tried to get support/warranty. I'm speaking about the Xonar HDAV 1.3 fiasco that should have resulted in a class action lawsuit against Asus.

Almost 4 years later and 2 different cards and countless drivers/firmwares i still don't have a fully functioning HDMI audio card. All at my expense :shadedshu

Hey Asus; Tom & George specifically: GFYS :nutkick:

Couldn't agree more. Too many issues with their motherboards in the past have put me off buying anything branded Asus. Their Top series of gfx cards are good quality for the most part [based on review sources] but I still hesitate. Didn't recent Asus 670 Top cards have issues?

True about mobos. Asus mobos have served me well.

Maybe true about the graphic cards, but then that means they got real lucky with their GTX 670 DC2T - the only 10 ever given to a card here on TPU. :D

I still think the Gigabyte should have gotten that honor ;)

Plus the louder cooler.

I don't know why ASUS don't just use the 670/660 ti cooler for everything (modified as necessary).

That would be ideal...
