Custom build gaming pc

okay i already save up some cash now and im ready to set up a new pc..
my budget would be around $2500-$3500, I want to have an eyefinity with 3 landscape 22-24 inch monitors so those monitors should be in the budget too. yeah another thing im in japan so im only going to buy most of the parts online well mainly through amazon.co.jp but not everything is in there mostly only popular items are there so i cant get my hands on other stuffs..

i only have a few knowledge when it comes to computer hardware, and i have been reading lots of reviews and threads about the good parts to get. heres what i came up with so far.

COMPONENTS:

Yeah thats all of it so far.. here are some of my concers when it comes to the components i chose.

Motherboard - Im choosing from Asus Sabertooth Z77, ASRock Z77 Extreme4, and ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE. Well ive been searching the web about dis and all i can get is that all 3 are almost the same its just a matter of choice on what you pick. I havent made up my mind yet so if someone could tell me which would be better then ill think about it.

Ram - well lots of other ram are great like the g.skills ripjaw series but i went to the asus site and this is what they recommend for the asus sabertooth z77

CPU cooler - Yeah i already know that if i used other cooling fan for the CPU that the warranty of the CPU would be voided well im okay with that, and another thing why I chose a water cooling system is because my room is hella hot especially during summer season.

GPU - well im not really sure if this is a nice GPU but a friend recommended it and i read its reviews and it looks like a nice GPU to me.

Case - Well i know there are a lot of other good cases out there but i really like how this one looks like well specifically the color i like white colors on a cpu case. if anyone can recommend a better white one then im open to it.. ive also been having a slight problem with this case since the h100 wont fit in without modding it.

Display - I was thinking of getting the SyncMaster Full HD 3-panel Multi Display System but its not available in amazon.co.jp and been trying to search the web anywhere else i can get it but it seems like its really rare around here. so I ended up with that.

I linked everything to newegg for viewers convenience but the prices of everything in newegg and in amazon japan is different, some are much more expensive and some are way cheaper than on newegg. All in all i still have around $800, since there still some left in the budget an upgrade on the parts wouldnt be bad, doesnt matter if I maxed out my budget since I saved this up just for my build..

Oh yeah I already have the optical drives i needed so no need to recommend those

Update:
So I updated the components according to what people suggested.. like the PSU, added one more 7970, I removed one HDD instead of having 2 1TB i just remembered that i still have 1TB external hard drive with me.

Oh and i converted my money to dollars using google and it seems like my conversion was wrong my budget is 2500-4500$ .. I though dollar and yen conversion is 1=1 guess i was wrong

You will definitely be interested in either a second 7970 or any other dual GPU setup if you plan to game at 5760x1080.

okay like i said earlier my knowledge when it comes to PC hardware is only limited, and your post got me confused cant i do that with only 1 7970 GPU??

You can, but frames might be lower if you want to play on higher settings. BF3 Maxed out at just 1920x1080 I get around 115fps with 2x 7970's, now triple that pixel amount, it's really going to cut down on that number.

That asus 7970 has some bad reviews at newegg. I'd be skeptical. Whichever 7970 brand you pick I'd get 2 of them.

32 gb of ram is complete overkill. 16 is more than sufficient for even the most hardcore programs.

KINGWIN LZP-1000 1000W ATX 12V v2.2, EPS 12V v2.91... is higher efficiency, and lower price than that corsair psu.

If you are going to put the games on the ssd (as you should) get a 256gb model. They tend to be cheaper per gig anyway.

You don't need so much ram, get 16Gb but faster instead, 1866 or 2133Mhz. Get a 2Tb HDD instead of 2 1TB ones, unless you are mirroring it. 900w PSU is more than enough for 2 high end graphics card and a healthy overclock on the CPU, you can save on that too.

Its also possible to cheap out massively, and still get more or less same performance. For example getting 3570K, 8GB 1866Mhz ram, HX850, H60, etc. Gives you money to upgrade in the future. Depending on game you can get the a to power all the 3 monitors with good framerates.

Like i said i dont really know anything about the GPU i chose a friend just recommended it well if anything would be better might i ask what would it be?? since i only read reviews and threads so i might have missed some bad reviews about it..

i was supposed to get a 16gb ram but when i look at the site and seeing it on sale for about $150 then i decided why not go 32gb

I like the PSU you recommended but it looks like that is one of the things i cant get my hands on here in japan.. I like how you can unplug wires you dont need so i chose corsair ax1200 well if something would be better then again i would like to know what it is..

The MHz on RAMs is one of the things i dont know about well reading your post makes me realize a little bit so a higher MHz on a RAM would perform much better even though the GB is lower.. am i getting that right?? well if thats the case i think i would change my ram then..

I like how you suggested this especially how you maintain the performance level of the set well cutting down on the budget. well about that i just cant get 3770k out of my head so thats why i chose it and i dont think thinking about the budget would make me change my mind. about the ram well understanding what you told me i would definitely change whats on the list. HX850 looks like i can get those but im just thinking if i decided to add something more on this set up in the future would it still be enough to support anything? and bout the H60 thats another thing that i cant get here, its either H80 or H100 well a 10$ difference in price is not that much so why not go for H100

Get one of the smaller AX power supplies then (like 850), its still modular (ie you can still unplug unused cables).

7970 3GB is good for triple monitor setup, there is no problem with that. In fact its probably one of the best barring dual gpu boards for now.

well I havent been playing any games at the moment, ever since i moved here to japan a few years ago I havent had the chance to buy a good PC so only have a laptop. but having this kind of set i might start playing some hardcore games so i hope i wont have any problems when that time comes..

I could push almost 30fps on Battlefield 3 everything on high, 2xAA with a 670+3570K, I think its more than possible Lags in big fight though, so pushing 3 monitor with a single gpu setup is still pretty game dependent.

Says a single 7970 is fine...... pushes only 30 fps in bf3 at 5760x1080 witha 670

Also OP has enough room in his budget that he can fit in another gpu to have an adequate setup for that resolution.

Where did you hear this? I've never heard of using an aftermarket cooler voiding the warranty of any cpu.

okay ive been focusing on finding a better ram but it seems that there's only 1 i can choose from and its these. CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM... well it cost $55 in newegg but it cost $170 on amazon japan ... another thing i tried to look again at the asus site on what are the compatible rams for sabertooth z77 and all it has is a Corsair DDR3 1600 32GB(8GBx4) and a Corsair DDR3 2400 8GB ( 4x 2GB ) but looks like i cant get the DDR3 2400 here... will the DDR3 2133Mhz be compatible with my board?

Well its what they always say on another forum site when people are asking for opinion about changing the cooling fan that comes with the CPU, the warranty would be voided

If getting multiple graphics cards, I would look at cards with reference coolers. You need to exhaust heat out the case. Cards with after market cooler designs usually dump all the heat back into the case and the card on top gets really hot. Also that Asus card is triple slot and you will have no room between the two cards if you go with two of those (even if your motherboard has enough spacing. )

Go with after market cooler design if you are only getting a single card.

Smooth gameplay at a minimum in BF3 or example should be categorized as 45+ simply due to the horrific slowdown that can and most certainly will occur on occasion. If you factor in some of the larger maps in the expansions or 64 man servers you are looking at a horrible time trying to play. Also if he has the money then he might as well get the crossfire setup as games can and will only get more visually demanding.

Unless it is drastically different in japan than the rest of the world that is not true. Hardly anyone uses the stock coolers let alone if they are building the level of PC you are looking at.

In my opinion that depends because I personally run 2 6950's with aftermarket coolers and don't have a problem with them overheating or even getting over 65 C but I also have a case with a large amount of airflow. If your ambient room temperature is not exceptionally high and you feel as if your case has decent airflow then I would not worry about what model 7970 you get.

The 410 has room for added fans if you choose which I think would be a good idea to maximize airflow since you say your room is very hot. Having the front and side fans be intake while the rear case fan and the top fans exhaust the hot air is the most efficient way so you can't do much better than that. Also you "should" have enough room for your side fan even with the large GPU.

nice to know that the side fan would fit its been bothering me for quite a while now. well to get going just wanna confirm about the mobo that i chose, out of the 3 did i chose the best one?? and yeah about the ram that i posted a while ago would it be compatible with the mobo since the asus site is quite specific on what rams they recommend for the mobo. and about the 7970 is the GPU i chose good too??

well i was hoping to finalize everything by tonight so i can start ordering things by tomorrow and hopefully by next week (Since some items require 5-7 days to be shipped) my PC is complete
