This would be a bizarre choice, it's a GDDR3 card vs GDDR5 and it has 480 shaders vs 800.

Look man, Geeks.com has a lot of older hardware for awesome prices.

(4850 "800 shaders" for 40 bucks... one of the best deals you will find ANYWHERE)
(3870 x2 not as good as the 4850.. but pretty damn neat and a great price)
(6870 for 120bucks... can't beat that)

Good deals on a couple of them for sure. Grab a couple of them HD4850's and run them in Crossfire.

Keep in mind the linked 6870 is only a 1gb GDDR5 version.

I'm looking for phenom ii x4 3.4 or higher or a i5-750 plus 4gb of ram for 150$ or less anybody out there has these? I just missed a great chance to get myself one big deal but I forgot to bid!

I've like a motherboard that can support the fastest memory possible for my phenom and I most likely buy the ram separetly, I believe a fast computer is due to its ram.

I'm going to buy the cpu from newegg a new phenom ii x4 3.4 for 100$ please tell me what memory does it support that is the fastest and a recommendation of a motherboard will be nice and if you happen to have it that'll be great

this is an edit... is an fx-4100 amd faster then the phenom I want to buy? if so why is only 10 dollars more? I don't see it on the performance chart on tom's hardware I can't compare it.

What's the model number of that CPU on Newegg? Phenom II x 4 965BE? That's an excellent CPU and I'd probably buy that before I bought one of the AMD FX-Bulldozer CPU's.

Phenom II x 4 965BE supports DDR3 dual channel.
