...with what claims to be a link to reset password but it just takes you in circles. It says to change your password and that your old password will not work, but I was logged in anyway and manually changing it won't work.

"On Thursday TechPowerUp servers were hacked.

The attacker gained access to the forums user database, the one which stores user information. Details such as usernames, hashed and salted passwords fell into the wrong hands.

We are mandating a password change for all users.

If you already changed your password, please ignore this email.

Your old password will not work, follow this link to reset it:

If you use the same password (as your old TPU password) elsewhere (other sites), change it to something completely different.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience."

This is a trusted tech forum. I stopped frequenting Filefront for reasons like this. I never thought it would happen here, especially when the response to it is so sketchy.

I kept the actual email if any staff would like me to PM it to them. It looks to be an actual TPU email.

SPAM bot response, WTF?

Can I get some staff response here please? I'm beginning to think it's not safe using this site.
