"We've tapped G1/4 threading" Only from the retailer's that are kind enough to do it for you.

Im aware of that, but if the OP doesn't have the tools to do this, then he can just find one of these over there.

Fair point, but shipping wouldn't be worth it.

Shipping wouldn't be worth it.

Im saying, find one of these pre-threaded D5 pumps on the site he is using. Not ordering from performance-pcs.

hey guys, I'm on a break now from work. hehehe.

btw I was watching this late last night (lost a lot of sleep ahahahaha) wew learning water cooling seems harder than learning how to build from scratch.

How to Select Tube and Fittings Complete PC Waterc...

this tubing I posted last nigh.

cost me 150php = 3.75$ per ft I can only buy a minimum of 10 ft. is it worth it? is it enough for my needs?

how about this tubing? doesn't look nice thought.
Durelence St Gobain 1/4 3/8 Clear Tubing 6ft
(Durelence St Gobain 1/4 3/8 Clear Tubing 6ft (free label) = 600.00Php)

how is the quality of this tube when bending it?

for the compression since i'm going with the 1/4 3/8 tube
http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=21974952

did I have it right?

http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=21974981
do I need this too?

how about this tubing? in that link there are multiple tubes, I liked the blue color although it's more expensive.
http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=20077032

since the 1/2 ID and 3/4 OD so does that mean it doesn't fit on the G1/4" 3/8" 5/8"??? the compression fitting above?

note: sorry for having too many questions. please bear with a newbie

so If I were to go with the blue tubing 1/2 ID 3/4 OD then I would need to go with this compression fitting?
http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=21972783

Since my motherboard MSi X79A-GD65 8D has a blue LED i was thinking of going blue (sadly I use the red G.SKILL planning on getting a G.SKILL Fan on it and paint it blue XD or get small blue led fans.

btw just for confirmation. this one fits right?

Res = XSPC Acrylic Dual 5.25 Bay Reservoir (Alu Front) = 3300
Pump = Swiftech MCP655-B Water Cooling Pump= 5000

right?

based here
http://www.petrastechshop.com/lad5smcin12v.html

it should fit but also means Ii need the 1/2" barb (can i use the compression fitting 1/2??

using this tube: A pre-cut TFC Feser UV Blue Tubing
note: Does this tubing fit this res? http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=21969179

using this compression: Thermochill Chrome Compression Fittings 1/2id to 3/4od
did I get it right?

edit: was watching this linus vid about water cooling and he removed the slot for the cpu block and put it in the other side so the fittings would fit. does my selected cpu block would fit the compression fittings I put above?

http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=21955246

what about this cpu block??
http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=21011904
lga 2011 compatible.
Supplied with mounting hardware, 775, 1156/1155, and 1366 backplates, twin blue LED, allen key, and K2 thermal paste. (does this mean I need to buy my own lga2011 mounting hardware? or I can just buy seperate mounting stuff for the lga2011?)

gonna update my list at the first post for now.

edit: this xspc raystorm looks nice, I wonder if I don't need a backplate for it like on some air cooler on lga2011 can anyone clarify this?

i found this about the raystorm and looks like a good read.
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=20155925

but in here on their link it says it's compatible with lga 2011 but doesn't have a back plate. or are the lga 1366 and lga 2011 have the same back plate? hope it fits my motherboard if so.

Your posts are just walls of text. You don't need to copy and paste the page content. You can just give us links to everything. But I dont know why your going to 3/8" tubing?

3/8 is small and doesnt look very good IMO, and I think its a little harder for water to flow through. 7/16 and 1/2" ID tubing is the chosen size by nearly everyone.

It was late last nite. MX has it on the head. 7/16 ID is the call for a tight fit.

I have used 3/8 and 1/2 ID and did not see a difference in temps but this maybe different in your case.
