Adapter Information
atiflash -i 1 [this will show card if it is at second position 1]

atiflash-p 0 HD6850.bim
[*rename to .bin if this is not a typo]

Flash Vga Bios
atiflash -p 1 [#bios name#].bin [this only .bin & .rom extentions are recognised by atiflash]

Thanks for your help

I've tried to do that at first and I can not fix it because the boot atiflash through 0fl01 shows error (adapter not found).

Then I send the card to a friend, and he has a motherboard with two PCI Express 16x slot.

Then he proceeded to install the card into the PC, and with a watt meter, he discovered that the card came to consume 600 watts cooler and made a sound like a jet engine.

Then he proceeded to flash the card with the original BIOS and the process stagnated at 50%. Inmendiatamente, he proceeded to flash a BIOS with lower clocks, and my friend was able to complete the process at 100%, but still no video.

lkey after restarting the PC, he proceeded to get into Windows with the IGP, and watt meter, it was detected that the card started to consume 127 watts, then rose to 151 watts and 200 watts. Surprise! , the PC was turned off and the PSU does not work. Possibly the PSU has been spoiled.

Please, what else I can do?.

reflash the card with correct vga bios - http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/87454/Sapphire.HD6850.1024.101025.html

nb: changing device ID or clock speeds on the HD 6xxx serise is not reccomended

Note: make sure any test system has at least a quality 500Watt Power Supply installed

fill in system specs

thanks

I forgot to mention that I have a power supply Antec High Current Gamer 620 Watts 620M modular 80plus bronze.

And the power supply of the PC of my friend is a 1000W Silent Pro Platinum. This power supply is spoiled when reflashing.

So I must try the BIOS you just give me?

In that case I *strongly suggest that the Sapphire Toxic Radeon HD 6850 is not installed in any PC

nb: time to send STR HD6850 for recycling

Hi

I keep trying to fix this

This is *foolish; if installing the card in a PC burnt a PSU, what next! maybe take out another PSU, CPU or motherboard components

Note: accept this, the card is damaged

-flash the original bios on to the card raise a ticket with Sapphire support get an RMA number and send it to Sapphire engineers, if it can be repaired! [this process may cost more than the card]
