Asus M5A99X EVO / CPU LED is on won't boot

Hi everybody!

I have a problem, I hope somebody can help!

I have configured a PC for myself 3 months ago, it was running just fine... until today.
Left my PC on for few hours, went in "sleep mode", then I tried to wake it up but it was all frozen. So I tried to restart it. But surprise, it wont boot.
On the MB the CPU LED (red) is ON!!! Also the Standby Power LED (green) is on.

Can somebody help?! Thanks in advance!

All new parts, except HDD and DVD.

glad I disabled sleep mode....someone did tell me a long time ago but forgot why lol

Start swapping out parts and try to find what is causing the problem. My first guess would be power supply.

yea as DDD said, take battery out mobo, go through fail safes...each memory stick out, cables etc... check IO cables...... if you got spare PSU try that! give it a kiss cpr and keep trying!

I like the XFX power supplies

but corsair, antek etc

EDIT: you got a fairly good one and its new? and its been working?
