i am wondering if it's safe to run the Power Limit (MSI Afterburner) / Power Target (Asus GPU Tweak) at 112% for 24-7 or should i lower it to 100% when i don't use my new card?

when you dont use the card (for gaming), power limit isn't in effect anyway

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Its a limit. So yes. The card will only use what it needs in whatever state its in. Chances are, even with overclocking, you arent even breaking 100% anyway... check it out and see. ;)

i have already hit up to 107% according to GPU-Z 0.6.9

and that's with untouched GPU Voltage

Im surprised. On my 680 it never broke 100% even at 1200/1700+. Nor does it on the 650ti and 650ti boost.

The voltage change is automatic, for the record. Assuming you are not modified in any way, 1.175v will always go to the core under 3D situations. So YOU may not have changed anything but that is how the 'boost' actually works.

i changed Power Target in Asus GPU Tweak and GPU Boost Clock together with Memory Clock ofc, and i was thinking about playing with the GPU Voltage, but i dunno.

LIke I just said. It adjust the voltage for you. THere is no point to adjust it manually. Without bios modifications, your limit is 1.175v which is already boosts to automatically. Nvidia has severaly dumbed down/neutered o/c on their GPUs without hard mods.

You can unlock Your kelper bios to 1.21V With the KGB - Kepler BIOS Editor/Unlocker without hardware modifications .

132% here and the biggest jump i recorded was 110% over power limit.

As long as your card and your VRM´s are cool any power target you set should be fine for 24/7 since every card is limited to 1.175V (unlocked 1.21V).

I know, that is why I said, WITHOUT BIOS MODIFICATIONS (which you quoted). :toast:
