That fantastic price gets you one GPU, and one space heater, all in the same PCB.

Or, two GPGPU cores.

Crossfire....requires non-public driver.

:nutkick:

Still, when it is officially released, both cores will work, and in the meantime, I'll have tri-fire.
Regardless, there's still nearly 5 days left and the price is sure to skyrocket.

Tri-Paper weight?? ;)

Paperweight or not, it'll crank out some impressive bench and crunching numbers ;) And unlike a lot of people(apparently you're one of them), I still have hope that AMD will fix the Crossfire issues. Frankly, my setup has exceeded my expectations, and even my keen eyes don't see microstuttering except in Skyrim, but that's most likely the fault of BethSoft and me for setting uGrid 9 with Dat Grass mod. And hell, even if they don't fix the issues, I'll either end up with a few GTX670s or 680s, or just say screw it and nab a Titan.
And it seems 3 bids have been denied. The bid is now $406, less than most 7970s.

Looks like the last bid got retracted. I wouldn't bid on this card, seller claims the product is new (which it isn't) and no mention of if the card was tested as working.

Ehh, wouldnt "NEW" constitute working?

I suppose it would to ebay, perhaps not the seller. But something "NEW" intrinsically, works.

Again, can someone explain me that how can you sell something given to you by the company to test?.

Isn't that like Nvidia giving TPU the Titan to write a review on and then Wizz selling it on eBay?.

Whats wrong with that?

The problem here is its an Engineering Sample which cannot be sold and the NDA isnt up. If Wizz, or any other reviewer gets a non ES sample and the NDA expires, they can do what they would like with it...

That card can be sold without any repercussions.

Source you may ask? AMD

And the card is an engineering sample which will have no warranty.

Q: Has the card been tested and shown to be working?
A: Yes - perfect shape, fully tested and working.

That question was asked on the sellers page.

Card needs drivers, even for single-GPU. Worst case scenario, gotta wait till after launch, when driver is public.

Isn't that like Nvidia giving TPU the Titan to write a review on and then Wizz selling it on eBay?.

1 out of the 3 Titans went back to NVIDIA and the other 2 are still here for retesting with newer drivers. Originally NV wanted 2 of them back but I convinced them they will be handy for future CrossFire/SLI reviews (was big drama trying to borrow a 2nd GTX 690 for the Titan SLI review).

and no, I don't sell cards (so please stop emailing me, random Internet people)

Legally all samples are on long-term loan, otherwise, technically, you'd have to put their worth into your income taxes.

What? Am I the only one with one? :p
You wish

How so?

The card is under an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement until...:D), and ES samples if labeled as such cannot be sold anyway. At least Intel/AMD CPUs are that way...
