List of supported GPU's + need help?

Newly registered, have used GPU-Z often though.

I was wondering, is there a list of supported GPU's by GPU-Z available somewhere?


Also, I collect pre-DirectX 9, 3D-capable videocards. I've got more videocards than most people will ever use in their lifetime. The GPU's they make use of range from the Glint300SX and Yamaha YGV612-F all the way up to Radeon R200 and GeForce4 gpu's.

Are you guys interested in adding support for those?

AFAIK it reads from the drivers, so if there's drivers it should read it.

It does not. It reads directly from the BIOS on the card. AFAIK it will go back as far as Rage series cards, but I can't say for sure.

I can speculate that Wizz most likely has no intention of adding support for cards older than that as they are not used by enough people to matter. But I obviously can't be 100% sure about that.

Please note that latest GPU-Z supports WinXP or higher only, so if any cards don't work on that and work on Win2000 or older only, maybe GPU-Z won't work very well with such old videocards.
