I ordered a new custom build rig last week and it has flown through build to the test phase in just five days so it would be due to reach me next Tuesday or Wednesday. But checking the site I bought it from today I found out they now have Haswell in stock.
My dilemma is should I stick with the spec I've ordered (Sabertooth Z77 + i5-3570k) or call them and upgrade to Haswell (Sabertooth Z87 + i5-4670k) before the rig is tested and dispatched?
I'm in two minds as, apart from having brand new tech, I'm not sure what increase in performance the new gen of hardware will offer.
