Idk about you guys but I the FF franchise and have been waiting for this.
The game looks amazing and the new team has done very well imo.
Hoping for the best with this.

I'm so jealous... I tried hard to get into beta. I paid for ARR but I missed it by one month.
I have been following it very closely and I am more than ahppy about what Yohi-P and his team have done.
It's an amazing feat to take a game from fail to win.
Even the reviews that are out are favorable to the game.

Was a poll on TESO forums asking about which MMO people were looking forward to the most.
ARR was like 3k votes.
Everything else had like no votes..lol..

I'm an older guy but man I feel kinda giddy, like a school kid..lol..
Can't wait for this to come out. I will be totally absorbed by it..


Now I just need to find a new guild.. ugh..
50 in all dom/dow.
Beat every primal and made the teams who beat them.
My materia gear has been coming along nicely.
I'm sure I'll find one out there.

I hear ya, but I gladly pay for a polished product.
FFXI delivered on content for years and is still going on pay to play.
As long as they deliver on content, I'm good with it.

I've seen you post this previously - I am quite surprised you like it in contrast to the original FFXIV.
While 1.0 had it's flaws, compared to all the dumbed down Warcraft template clones launching at the time, it was a nice kick in the pants, that didn't hold your hand and had high resolution visuals.

I've never been big on group play since I stopped EverQuest years ago - lending my time more towards the solo geared MMORGPS, however FFXIV made me interested in group play again.

1.23 arrived and the game seemed to have finally been complete, almost 'fixed.'

Then they dump it all, and unleash upon us this really watered down, spamtastic, flashy mess of a game that is anti-open world, anti-mob grind, anti-pretty much anything that FFXI or FFXIV 1.23 was about.

I enjoyed it, I admit for a little while - and I am hanging on their promises that phase III will brig much needed changs - but that in itself bothers me. The reality isthe core mechanics will not change anytime soon. What you see now is how it will be at launch for the most part.

And quite frankly, I'd rather just go play EverQuest on an emulator if I'm going to be stuck with auto-attack and a few abilities to spam.

Anyways, please add it into your graphics cards testing rotation, using the benchmark they supplied for the game.

Day 1 of Phase 3, open beta.

Conroer, that is such an overly simplified statement about " A few abilities and an auto attack"
There are tons of abilities and a lot of people prefer an auto attack to spamming the same button over and over.
Sounds like you prefer Oblivion type games more.

The new battle system is going to change things a lot, especially with the limit breaks/group attacks they implement.
FF is more about making it a team effort, than one man spamming an attack key.
I'd rather be having fun, making new group attack combos, than spamming an attack key all day..

You haven't even played the new version or even the beta yet, so it may be a good idea to actually try it before you make it sound so dumbed down.

Game really looks good.NIce features,combat system,world.I probably will buy it on PS4 but for PC mmo era ended for me,only game left i waiting is star citizen.
