Suggest 5 27-32" monitors for gaming?

Hey guys..

I don't know which way to go on a monitor 27-32?

Ill use it most for gaming..

I prefer really slim borders rathen than this huge old ones..

Budget unknown ;p

If going for cheap, Korean 27" IPS/PLS panels. They're good quality, and I've been very happy with my Qnix.

Otherwise if you have the cash, Dell Ultrasharp 27" or 30", or Apple CinemaDisplays in 27" or 30".

does the bezel (border) really matter unless you're going to have more than 1? image quality is most important

As I type, I am looking at my $310 QNIX 27" 2560x1440 matte screen lcd that arrived from South Korea less than two weeks ago.

Should add that it has a new $90 desk mount that lets me flip it any which way I want to. Default stand basically just held it up.

But the panel itself is perfect for me. Took a chance and so far has payed off.

i dont like screens with big bezels...it doesnt matter if is only gonna be 1..

i said about budget that is not a big deal atm

also i prefer known manufacturers like lg samsung etc...

I've had my HP ZR30w for almost a year now, very happy with it's picture quality and performance. Just make sure you have enough GPU power for the resolution. My single 7970 struggles some with games like BF3 and Crysis 3 (I get around 30fps in those games).

I understand wanting to stick with a known quantity.

But no need spending more than you have to.

I would suggest the ASUS PB278Q. A friend of mine was able to get one on Amazon for $500, and he could not be happier.

IMO, 1440p is the way to go regardless.

Can't go wrong with the Dell. Best warranty in the business. If you want to save a little cash, get the Asus. Essentially they are the same monitor, however the Dell will most likely have better calibration.
