That's the one I have and I also hate half assed backlight ... full lit variant came out a month ago  other than that it's a hell of a keyboard, keys don't fade and it's heavy
The half backlit annoys me as well, at least I could set the WASD and arrow key to lit, that is less annoying when gaming. But I turn it off all the time. The ability to change to 6KRO and NKRO is sweet as well but I can't get to BIOS when NKRO is on though, and that annoys me when I'm overclocking

Apocalypsee, do you use USB or PS/2?

@OP: I got the Qpad MK-50 with Cherry MX Brown switches and I love it. You can order it directly form the Qpad website, where several 105-key ISO-layouts can be chosen (I suppose you want the UK layout, I have chosen the US International lay-out since that is de facto the standard inthe Netherlands).

If I were 3000 miles West South-West of where I am I would jump on that.

Thermaltake, have a look at their website, apart from that the Corsair are the best.

Corsair have strange keyboards where not all of the keys are mechanical :wtf:

Old IBM, Das, Filco etc. are so much better than Corsair's best. If we are talking budget there are plenty of full mechanical keyboards out there against Corsair's half mechanical keyboard.

even at its listed price if its in your part of the world, its a great entry level mech KB. I bought mine cause i didnt want to spend $100 or more on a mech board if i didnt like the feel. I do though and am prolly getting a Tt Meka G1 white :D

K95 and K70 not fully mechanical ??, that's news to me, get the TT MEKA G1 then.

K95 and K70 are both fully mechanical and are not price efficient against competitors (unless you need the extra keys), K60 is not fully mechanical.

Neither is the K90, but it's just the functions keys. The reset are mechanical :) Works good for me!

Hmm, now I have a rather hard decisions to make, MK-50 or Quickfire TK...

IIRC, the Quickfire TK has no wrist rest, while the MK-50 has got a wrist rest included (as the only sub-100USD mech KB, AFAIK). Wrist rests are needed in case of mech KBs because hey are higher then most current membrane and scissor switch KBs.

I'm going to be posting a review of the Thermaltake Meka G Red switch edition in the next day or two on the forums, but I do recommend it as it's overall a very nice and sturdy keyboard with a lot of options and all of the keys are mechanical except the volume keys and the 4 profile keys. It is only a half LED backlit keyboard though if it matters.

My currant desk has a built in wrist rest that sits 2cm above the keyboard tray so that isn't a problem =P

This one? It's quite a bit more expensive and I can only find it in blacks.

Update: I have received my CMSQFTKPro from Box just now. The keyboard sits slightly higher than my previous one (G11), and also slightly higher than my laptop. Wrist rest will be most welcome here given the height, but I tend to float my hand above the keyboard its a non issue for me. So far no problems. The half lighting works as it should, and is bright enough in total darkness. Spacebar is slightly more "defined" than I would like, I spend more time hitting the edge of the spacebar. Spacebar sounds slightly hollow, but I think that is a very personal taste.

If you have any questions about the board feel free to ask me.

Yeah, everyone should use Corsairs naming system, "M65. Oh, it's a mouse and it's not as good as the M95 but better than the M50". God I love how Corsair brand things.

I think Corsair names their mouse M and their keyboard K, which makes perfect sense if you ask me.
