My brother preordered the base and premium.... I had to do the same.

Still not sure how I feel about this. It was fun, but about the same as BF3.

Lol, yeah I pretty much hate BF3... though I play it anyways. Maybe I like abusing myself or somthing.

I did actually like the BF4 beta though... Sure it doesn't have as much destruction as I want, but I though the map was very well done overall. Now I'm looking forward to flooding and drowning people.. and myself.

I am waiting to see how it does before going that route. I'd rather get it on a discount than buy it full price.....$109 seems steep. I know BF3 did it but I don't recall it being that way from the get go.

Good news everyone!!

All "Official" servers will be full of hackers because DICE (in their infinite wisdom) has decided that no admin can kick, ban, kill, or move a player on any server that's listed as "Official" and no "Official" server will have a commander.

In related news, there will not be a single "Official" server in BF4, as no admin is stupid enough to pay money for a sever they can not administer. Thus DICE has officially made their "quick match" button worthless.

I maybe wrong on the Commander part as someone pointed out that it's possible that all it's saying is that you can not turn it off.

Some have pointed out that this is a good thing for consoles. While this may be true, it's going to be a total joke on the PC since now all the subtle hackers have no more reason to be subtle about hacking if PB and FF are not going to catch them.

Give it more time. It will grow on you because it really is a lot better in very many ways. Most small, some huge but they all add up to real improvement. Still should be more destruction it seems yadda yadda but overall they did way more with it and for it than I expected (and noticed) at first. It feels and plays different than BF3 too which it damn well should.

IDK if I woulda bought Premium too at this point. Though I likely will eventually too.

Seriously, no. I did play Metro very occasionally when I wanted to unlock some shit on an M16X or something like that but it is so not what Battlefield is about and what has always attracted me to the series.

Also, those Metro servers are where you will find your majority of noobs, morons, trolls and hackers. Why would I choose to play with the lowest common denominator all the time?
