Asus ROG on facebook today posted some pictures of their 290x with their DC2 cooling system on board. Should be a nice card. Looks to still be a dual slot cooling system, nice for those who want to add two in a smaller motherboard.

I think that's the first time I've ever seen a DCUII card who's cooler is actually thinner than the I/O plate. Would be a great one to Crossfire.

There doesn't seem to be any available performance or price info yet though.

I just hope that they can get 1ghz core speed in gaming without throttling (first card that manages that will get my money).

??? It's just your standard twin downward facing propeller design that most non ref coolers use.

There are two types of fans on there blowing different ways. Interesting design is more towards what I was commenting on
